Papers and ephemeral items of Regimental Sargeant Major Albert A. Breunig. The material primarily covers Breunig's service on the headquarters staff of Major General John F. O'Ryan, 27th Infantry Division, U.S. Army, 1918-1919. Included in the collection are miscellaneous orders, photographs, and documents relating to Breunig's service career and life; ephemeral items relating to the departure overseas and return home of the 27th Division; and local booklets and other printed items picked up by Breunig while overseas.
